Frontend Developer Internship — React & Restaurant Backoffice

About the job About ZOVU ZOVU is building an integrated restaurant OS that connects service, customers, and business operations. We are a bootstrapped, fully remote startup with an MVP nearing completion. Our web applications help restaurant teams manage the information and workflows behind daily service. The opportunity Build clear, useful web interfaces for restaurant managers and operators. This three-month internship focuses on substantial backoffice functionality: forms, operational tables, permissions, reporting, and configuration. You will help make complex tasks understandable while connecting them to real backend services. What you will work on Develop React/TypeScript features for restaurant-management workflows. Build forms with validation, useful feedback, and safe submission behavior. Implement tables, filtering, search, and pagination. Handle loading, empty, error, and permission-dependent states. Connect interfaces to APIs and keep displayed data consistent after changes. Improve accessibility, responsive layouts, and performance. Add tests for important interactions and prevent regressions. What we are looking for A React/TypeScript application with features you personally implemented. Understanding of components, hooks, state, and API integration. Ability to explain rendering behavior and investigate unnecessary requests. Care for pitch-perfect interfaces and accessible interactions. Familiarity with Git and debugging tools. Confidence working from written requirements and asking focused questions. You do not need Flutter experience. Backend knowledge is helpful, but this role is focused on web applications. Useful Additional Experience Data-heavy dashboards, complex forms, role-based interfaces, reusable components, frontend testing, or performance profiling. How we work This is a three-month remote internship with a target commitment of 32 hours per week. Please state your actual availability.
